A Signature Event
The Pearls of Service Foundation (PSF) annually awards scholarships to college-bound students from Southeast Michigan. This year as we celebrate 25 years of fulfilling our mission, we plan to distribute scholarship awards exceeding $35K and will fund nearly $20K of community service programming for under-served communities throughout Metro Detroit. Additionally, we will honor our scholarship recipients in a Juneteenth celebration breakfast event titled: Our Ancestors’ Wildest Dreams: A Celebration of Art & Scholarship. This event will serve as our major fundraiser for 2024. We will host our scholarship awardees and their families and feature youth performing artists on the program. Our celebration aligns with the city of Southfield Juneteenth festivities of which we have been an integral community partner since the inaugural events in 2019.
